Membership in PGCI

Private Golf Connections is a web based global golf membership community dedicated to providing private golf members from around the world with an ability to privately and securely connect with other private golfers for two main purposes: 1) to play more Private Golf Courses locally and globally, and 2) enjoy social and business networking. You must already be a member of a recognized private golf club, somewhere in the world.

The easiest way to become a member is to click the ‘Join Now’ button at the top of the Home Page and follow the directions. There are a number of conditions for joining PGCI, the most important of which is that you must be a member in good standing of a private club

Memberships can be cancelled at any time through written submission to PGCI. However, there will be no refunds provided

No. Membership in PGCI is an annual based membership. Members will be reminded to renew for the coming year a few weeks prior to the expiry of their current membership year. The start of each member’s membership year is based on the member’s original sign up date.

Membership to PGCI is an annual membership at the cost of $500USD for a Tier 2 Course, or $350 for a Tier 1 Course. These prices may change depending on the promotional events (and associated promotion codes) that are available at the time that the membership is initiated and those that might be offered on renewal dates.

No. Private Golf Connection Inc.’s membership does not include any rounds of golf. Membership in PGCI entitles the member to access the web based systems provided by PGCI. All rounds of golf requested and played by the Requesting (guest) member, will be paid by the Requestor as agreed to by both playing members.

From time to time PGCI will offer its current and applying members’ promotional discounts on new or renewal memberships. The member or applicant will obtain from PGCI a “promotion code”, the member or applicant will use during the payment process to receive their discount.

Playing Other Private Courses

How would I get to play other private courses?
- There are two ways for a PGCI member to play. The primary means for a member (the guest) to play at another member’s club is to initiate a “Request” to the second member (the Host). Requests are just that, requests from member to another to play at the club of the second member.
- The second way is through an “Invitation”. Any PGCI member can create an Invitation for other members to play at their club, and post it openly for all PGCI members to see. (See FAQs on invitations).
- Please note that these features are restricted to Active Members of PGCI only.

Is my transaction safe?
- PGCI has chose to secure its transactions through Verisign, a world leader in online transaction security. VeriSign secures more than 500,000 Web servers worldwide, more than any other Certificate Authority. The world’s 40 largest banks and 93% of Fortune 500 companies choose VeriSign SSL Certificates to secure their online transactions.

The log-id for the PGCI site is based on a user id and a password. The user id is the e-mail address that you use to check e-mails from PGCI. The password is secret to you and if you have forgotten it, click on the ‘Sign In’ button on the top menu bar, select the ‘Problems Signing in link’ and follow the instructions.

Although signing out is not always required and many users simply close the page without signing out, by formally signing out you are terminating the session with the PGCI sever, which provides a slightly higher level of security.
