Private Golf Connections Inc. (PGCI) is a Toronto, Ontario, Canada based privately held company. Initially conceived in 2002 by its founder and President Rick Vyrostko, PGCI is looking to become the leading web based membership organization dedicated solely to providing private golf club members from around the world with a truly enhanced and exhilarating golf experience and more.
Our vision and mission includes not only the promotion of enhanced participation in the game both locally and globally, it also includes the nurturing of the passion and protection of the traditions and integrity of the game.
Private golf club membership has long been understood to be a privilege to those who had both the passion and love for the game of golf, and the means to join the exclusive private golf facilities from around the world. While private golf club members enjoy all the elements of their home clubs, they also yearn for the opportunity to play the many other private clubs locally and globally. There are over 6,000 private golf facilities around the world and up to now most private members pretty much played their own course, all of the time, with only infrequent trips to a local private club where a friend or two can get them on.
PGCI is changing the paradigm. Through PGCI’s unique web based application, the entire world of private golf members can join a community where their passion for golf not only lives on, but is truly enhanced. Whether they are traveling for business, or just want to play another private course, possibly one that is rated in the top 100 in the world, PGCI members will be able to reach out to create new friends and new golf experiences.
PGCI also want this community to be fun and exciting. As such they will be setting-up and hosting numerous regional and annual charity based golf tournaments for the members at which competitive golf will be played, prizes will be won, charities will be donated to and new friendships will be built.
As though the opportunity to play thousands of different private courses wasn’t enough, PGCI wants to reward its members for joining and participating. An exciting Reward program will pay the members in “Mulligans” just for doing a variety of things while logged into the system. These Mulligans can then be cashed in for fabulous rewards. Our simple way of saying thank you.
The PGCI Web Site will become a favorite bookmark and possibly even a home page for many of its members. Offering the latest information on a variety of topics of interest to private golfers, the site will be a valuable resource. Through member suggestions it will continue to build in services and functionality and rich in content.
Following the wisdom and guidance of the world’s professional golfers ongoing desire to contribute to charities at all levels, PGCI will also be dedicating much of its efforts to giving back to society through its charitable donations strategy. A percentage of the annual net profits of the company will be given to a number charities in North America and around the world. It’s our turn to help others.
